How does it work for pictures? The white balance is locked for videos, but I have this issue consistently with pictures.

Can you tell me why it takes 30 seconds) nowadays) if I want to take a picture of my electric meter (which is in a slightly dark room) using my iPhone 15 pro? It will focus, refocus &?repeat several times before taking, and usually default to taking a very long time exposure too— so producers a blurry image. And worse, my electric meter usually cycles to another screen, or turns off the light on the screen before that happens!🥺
