I support first amendment auditing. However, if the cops have a report with a man possibly having a machete or knives, they have to check it out. If you do not have those weapons, then the police between immediately file charges against whoever called it in. You need to comply with the officer to dispel the report. We've seen place attacked out of nowhere with those type of weapons. So yes, the officer has every right to fear for his safety.
