Unpopular opinion but this is why I LIKE weighing myself daily, if I weigh myself once a week after all that hard work and go up I feel discouraged, but if I check everyday I at least see the ups and downs that went into that.

I decided I'm not going to weigh myself. I've been doing this for 3 weeks and have noticed a difference in how my clothes are fitting, way less bloating, and overall feeling better. If I get trapped in the scale victories or defeats, I'll give up. So consciously made the decision to only focus on the non scale wins this time around.

That POV is painful 😅 I did everything “right” too and the scale still went up. I felt defeated, like my body was ignoring me no matter how hard I tried. In a women’s forum I saw Eat like a woman protocol by Loren Green mentioned. Tried it and things finally shifted—less bloating, steadier energy, 25 lbs down. Feels like hidden info.

This is why you have to weigh yourself everyday! Ik it sounds contradictory but that way you can see the fluctuations including the lows! This really changed the game for me but isn’t for everyone. It is just more motivating imo!

Ladies let's also remember our weight fluctuates throughout our cycles. My luteal phase I literally "gain" 5-6 lbs on the scale. I could drink water and eat chicken and still have a "belly". After my period it all goes away.

As a woman who still has a cycle (I am assuming) hormones can play a huge role in things like water retention. Beyond that make sure you really are in a caloric deficit. I’ve seen many people who did not realize the amount of calories they were actually eating.
