as an aunty, I genuinely don't care what you think the "duties of aunties and uncles" are, it's straight up disrespectful to go against what the parent says and you just end up turning them into a brat. you're giving them the idea that they can throw a fit and get rewarded for it, and teaching them it's okay to disrespect your parents. but go ahead, do what you need to, to feel like such a cool person to a child
