@katieluciashields: When I was 15, I started a nonprofit called S.P.E.A.K: Spreading Positive Esteem and Kindness @s.p.e.a.k.initiative 🥹 My heart has always been to inspire people, young women, to build true self-efficacy so they could treat others the way they want to be treated. Over the years, this initiative has grown into Just Start @thejuststartproject I don’t believe the epidemic we are facing is kindness (this generation is so emotionally intelligent.) The real problem is FEAR fueled by comparison. I want to see you believe in yourself. I want to see you go after everything you want out of life. The first step is accepting that failure is inevitable. The second is realizing how talented and capable you already are. You don’t need to reinvent yourself to be worthy. Embrace your wins and losses equally. Know thyself. Love others. #JustStart. ♥️
