Speech is so fascinating. The phrases that are in your own vocabulary and aren’t deliberate come out smoothly, but producing phrases from the prompt don’t. Some people have the opposite aphasia and can only produce speech when they’re repeating or reading, but fluent speech is jumbled or delayed. The brain is wild!
