Wuthering heights is a gothic classic with foundations in romanticism - but it is not really a romance! If anything it looks at toxic and destructive love. Also I loved the lost queen! Book 1 was definitely the strongest, and they sort of got weaker as they went on. But even if you read just book 1 it’s fantastic!
