Many moons ago my eye doctor told me to wash my glasses with dish soap and dry with a microfiber towel. He was right and so are you. Single best way to clean glasses. You will be shocked how clear they are afterwards.

Different types of microfiber cloths, wood brand or what type are you applying? Some of the microfiber cloths are made for lake wiping down interiors. Have any types to look for when buying

That’s strange! The eye doctor recommended lense wipes. They work great!

What do you think about using dawn dish soap and drying them with the micro fiber towel? That’s what I’ve always done and my lenses aren’t scratched and the coating is still there from what I can tell.

Omg!!! My optometrist pushes the glasses wipes! I use them all the time! She also has diluted alcohol in a spray bottle that she sprays them with and then she wipes with a microfiber cloth.

I would add one more step for my Florida outdoor friends: use running water first, give them a rinse off, I even use the outdoor faucet. Sand is everywhere, even the dust is sand.
