Interesting. Are you hand injecting? How much? This would be a diagnostic exam instead of an annual? I do CT and It has been a hot minute since I’ve worked anywhere with a mammo machine.

Wouldn’t a lot of the patients have to get bloodwork done before hand to make sure their kidneys are ok for contrast? It seems like a lot since mammogram is one of those studies that patients gripe about the most already. That mass in the picture would have easily shown up on a regular tomo mammo and/or ultrasound.

Do you take prelim, noncontrast images first so there’s comparison before the contrast images? Or just contrast?

Thank you for this good information! I had this done a couple of weeks ago. I’m on rotating regular mammogram and CEM ..one or the other every six months since completing all my cancer treatments.

had this done after failing the breast face-down mri. with an ostomy, the mri table pressure was too much & I puked on the machine. 🫠
