My parents got pregnant with me three months into seeing each other. My father was 39 and my mother was 37. Abortion was discussed. Yes, I’ve absolutely been ignored by some of their family members on both sides and it’s caused me a bit of trauma, but I’m a child of God first and foremost. I wasn’t just a clump of cells. I respect my parents for making the hard unselfish decision to raise me instead of just killing me to make their lives easier

I really wish abstinence was taught in a way that teenagers with raging hormones could actually understand. As a former teenager I know that it's a mountain we're up against, but I feel that there's got to be a way to get through to the younger folks.
