@theadventureaddicts: our basic itinerary & more 👇 This trip has already been one of my favorites ever, & I’m so excited to start sharing these videos!!! This is our “splurge” trip, & we definitely prioritized nice stays & good food. This trip can be done much cheaper by staying in hostels or hotels with shared bathrooms, etc. or can be done wayyy more luxurious! On our first day in Japan we had some very important business to tend to: 7-11 runs, skiing, & lots of good food, & all were a success. Our basic plan for this 2 week trip was: Fly straight to Sapporo (CTS) (we purchased flights to Tokyo initially & then added on this round trip later) Rent a car & drive 2 hours to Otaru (highly recommend booking these well in advance… we did not…) Spend 3 nights in Otaru (where this video was taken) Here we: • walked around town (super cute walkable area) • skied at asarigawa onsen ($30 pp for 4 hour pass) & kiroro ($60 pp) • ate conveyor belt sushi & yakiniku (GAJA Otaru) & after this we came to niseko for the remainder of the ski portion. I’ll share more on this area soon!! Before we fly out we have about 48 hours in Tokyo, so taking any and all recs there!! We will be staying in shinjuku. But also… we never want to leave #japan #skiing #niseko
