I have owned a 3.8, a 3.7, and a 4.0 ignoring all the v8 ones Ive had. The 3.8, and 3.7 were extremely dependable. The 3.7 is fairly powerful for what it is. The 4.0 is neither. It's a time bomb waiting to explode on stock power. It helped coin the term exploder for the Explorers of the 90s. Don't waste your money on a 4.0 please. It will just be a headache and might only make 3.7 stock hp. Please just throw the 3.7 in it.

My first car was a 2007 v6 pony package. Got rid of it years ago but it was the one car I always missed. Caved in over the summer and got a 2006 gt. You’re definitely right the v6 made me fall in love with mustangs

yes!!! I love it! this was my first car, was my daily for 4 years now I have a v8 charger daily. my mustang is my project now, I wanna make it look pretty inside and out before changing out any internals

This is my 4.0 and I love it, t5 trans with spec stage 1 clutch and race fly wheel, rebuilt axle trans and engine, totally rebuilt and upgraded suspension, 57lb fuel injectors etc etc, I love this car
