I actually read the film as a romcom that is specifically not a love story; it's really this very interesting picture of a man learning about his boundaries and desires through a relationship that doesn't give him enough of either, and I appreciate how it goes about that

I know this isn't about that, but I would love to see if you have any more thoughts on Reeve Carney and Eva Noblezada and their American Cheating saga since the Vogue article came out. I checked it out and it's sweet but not necessarily insightful BUT I did find it really funny that not one line in the article mentions she was already married
