I love curling because it’s one of the few sports that aren’t completely reliant on you getting a lucky body shape. I will never be a remotely good high jumper because I’m not tall with freakishly long legs. But I theoretically could be a curler if I put the effort in. So I have a lot of respect for people who actually put the effort in

People act like this is any weirder than other sports. They’re all objectively strange if you choose to view them that way. Curling is a test of skill and physical ability like all the others
