My grandmom was a perfectly healthy woman and was diagnosed with small cell in October and was gone by January, thankfully she didn’t pass in pain thanks to hospice

Julie have you done a video on what to look for when you’re looking for a hospice company to use? Like specific questions we should be asking or specific things to research? Thank you for all you do to educate. Watching your videos really helped me through my dad’s passing. I appreciate you so much for that.

My mom died from small cell lung cancer. She was diagnosed at stage four I wish I knew hospice could’ve helped her a little bit longer. Now I feel guilty. I didn’t have her go in hospice sooner.

My Dad battled s4 SCLC for FOUR YEARS! He was a bit of a miracle. But hospice helped us so much when it finally came back.

My grandpa was diagnosed with this in Oct 2023. It eventually lead to t-AML in February of this year. We went home on hospice on a Friday, passed away peacefully and comfortably on Sunday at home. 🩵

my mom has stage iv lung cancer which we discovered only after symptoms that were neuro in nature and found a frontal lobe mass with surgery. only after this did she have a scan with a diagnosis after noting mets in the bones and adrenal glands. what advice do you have for caregivers when caring for individuals with impaired executive functioning and agitation likely associated with the frontal lobe tumor resection? this also impairs cognition so if a loved one is making grimace and restless should that be an indicator of pain even if when you ask they say no? but they are visibly uncomfortable? it have been 14 months since her brain surgery. we just started hospice 2 weeks ago. also any advice for family members to remember the end. I was thinking id like a thumbprint necklace with mine and her print but not even sure where to begin with this. any thoughtful things you've seen families do at the end prior to death? thank you so much in advance

Currently watching my SMIL slip away from this cancer :( she was diagnosed two years ago. We had a brief break where it was immeasurable and yes it came back harder and faster.
