He also suffered 'deep full thickness' burns to his lower body as a result of his friend's actions. Shocking video of the incident was captured on January 11 at Kauffmans Island in Lake Kerr, about 50 miles southeast of Gainesville. Before setting his friend ablaze, the 17-year-old boy is heard asking, 'Do you want to be set on fire?' The victim claimed he was running away when he allegedly created a highly-flammable pathway between a bonfire and his friend. The suspect was later identified as Bradey Ming and arrested by the Marion County Sheriff's Office.
