@digitalnepalofficial: Ahead of the House of Representatives elections scheduled for 21 Falgun, all four security agencies in Nepal-the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force (APF), and National Investigation Department (NID)-have banned their subordinates from resigning or taking leave. The decision comes as part of heightened election security measures. The Armed Police Force announced that resignations, home leave, vacations, and transfers are postponed until the elections conclude. Nepal Army personnel deployed for election security have no facility for leave or resignation until voting is over. Nepal Police officers across the country are also restricted from resigning or taking leave, although maternity leave and emergency situations are managed on a case-by-case basis. #nepalelection #news
