My ex got us lost in a city that should've been walkable otherwise. My feet were blistered. My old knee injury and ankle sprain were unbearable, and I was in tears while trailing 10-20 feet behind him while he urged me to keep up. I legitimately don't know why I stayed with him for another 2 years after that.

My father did this to my mother. She had a really abusive dad and didn’t see the red flag. I went no contact with my father because he’s a genuinely awful person who also did this to me when I was a child.

my husband (then new bf) and i went tubing on a river he lived near. he said "it's a circle!" i said "rivers are not circles" and asked other people what's ahead. they said "oh this is a waterfall less than a mile up" and i thanked them and started going to shore. helped him get to shore (he'd never really done any river stuff) and made him carry my tube and his all the way back to my truck. he said "that's fair" and didn't complain. it'll be 10 years in May

This is like a male version of “would you love me if I was a worm” but instead it’s “would you love me if I put you in The Hill Have Eyes situation (he’s the hill)” I miss days when men look at their girlfriend like “what did I do to deserve this angel?” Instead he’s like “I’m testing this angel if she deserves me”. No penis is worth that.
