WHAT DOES BELIEVING IN JESUS MEAN?
Believing in Him(Jesus) means believing that Jesus died on the cross for you and your sin. He basically saves you from the upcoming wrath of God, what wrath you might ask? SIN. God hates sin that's why you gotta accept/have faith in Jesus because through His blood, when you are covered, you will be seen righteous before God. You CANNOT save yourself for heaven by your good works ( its like you are on trial for a crime and you refuse to be in jail, and to make up for it you pay the price by doing good works, do you think it is justice to excuse a crime that's inexcusable?no. ) Jesus was given to pay the price of your sin and all you gotta do is BELIEVE IN HIM. Believing means you're also leaning your life into that, aside from saying it, you gotta show it through good works, because faith without good works is dead. I am not saying your good works ( self-righteousness-reliance) saves you, but by believing and expressing/showing that belief through good works proves your faith in Jesus. In addition, Jesus died because he loves you so much, to the point nothing can literally separate you from His love; in fact, you can't and won't even understand it. But is His grace an excuse to continually sin? Of course not! That grace shouldn't be abused but acknowledged, and when you do fall, always remember that that's what Jesus died for, and you can always comeback to Him to repent(change), because those who are in Christ will have no condemnation. In addition, The death of Jesus is not an excuse to continuously sin. Romans 10:9 if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe it in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved. What saved? Saved from the wrath of God, the wrath of God is the lake of fire which is the second death, he doesn't want you to suffer in that that's why Jesus Christ died for us and he wants you to believe in him, accept him, and confess all of your sin to be forgiven. Thank you and God Bless you<333
