@connordewolfe: You know what? It’s main account worthy too. 🧘♂️❤️ Would love to hear your thoughts on this, it takes a lot of practice but we’re quick learners #neurodivergent #meditation #adhd
My autism thinks this is a great idea. Lemme just run it by my adhd.

Are you meditating, or disassociating? I find it all to easy to do the latter.

Every time I've tried meditation, I feel and hear everything and can not chill. Anything touching my skin is suddenly irritating or itchy or my muscles or bones dig in somewhere!!!

I’m so “neuro-spicy” that I need to meditate when I press the purple light button too. What now, Connor?

I find I start meditating and then it become disassociating unless I really focus which means my brain just repeats meditate meditate over and over again

Genuinely though. Yes. This includes when you’re walking, try to feel the muscle you want to walk with (glutes and hip flexors) and keep on doing that until you realise the tightness elsewhere and relax into them. All day. It may not help you stay focused but it will make you so much nicer to yourself. All day.

And if that's hard, do 'active meditation'. Cooking, walking, whatever doesn't involve your phone.

At the new year I made a promise to myself to meditate for 10 minutes in the morning. It really allows me to start my day with peace - and for a short time - a less busy mind. Anything worth doing is worth half assing lol. Start somewhere for your benefit 🖤💪🏻

When we ND system successfully "Syncs" with a meditation practice that fits our specs, the benefits are high-voltage. We experience:
Improved Latency: Better transition between tasks.
Emotional Firewall: Reduced "Buffer Overflows" (meltdowns/shutdowns).
System Cooling: A lower baseline of anxiety and "Always-On" stress.👍
