@chickensandveg: My first peas are in and tucked up in the greenhouse! I love peas for the tasty garden snack and the flowers too! 🫛 You can actually grow multiple crops of peas a year... Peas follow a similar pattern to potatoes by way of having first earlies and main crop varieties. I sow peas 3 times each season. The first lot have just been sown in the greenhouse, ready for planting out in a few weeks. These are a delicious variety called Meteor and then again 6-8 weeks later, this time I sow Hurst green shaft but there are lots of varieties to choose from. Then I'll sow a final batch as they get growing for a later summer harvest! Last year I finished with some purple magnolia snap pea.
