I had this with a buffet in Oxford! I caught a bacterial infection from duck I had and it caused severe sickness as well as hospitalisation and then a skin condition! I told the restaurant and again the sent the same email wanting the past five days food I ate!

I had the exact same issue with Nandos! All they offered me was a £20 gift card...like I would ever eat there again 🤣

Should of kept the burger in a sealed bag took videos pictures contacted environmental health they would of had a visit for checks and sent kfc head office the raw burger 😂😫 xx

Once you start saying you have food poisoning it’s more serious than just a refund. So they can’t just send one and forget about it. Food poisoning is a hospital job so they have to ask for the details

12 years ago my daughter was in hospital for a week thanks to maccies I didnt get a sorry or anything from my email . now mths aft I moaned abt glass on their car park and they sent me a 25.00 voucher so I sent it them bk telling them to stick it x

@sophtxxx1: If you took your meal back to the restaurant after finding the raw chicken, they would have no choice but to refund your food as you wouldn’t want an alternative meal after receiving RAW food! It’s disgusting that they aren’t even offering this firstly. No customer service at all!! I would also say I do not wish vouchers I would like my refund for the meal and I will not be eating from you again!! I’m sure they can spare £12 or whatever meals cost these days rather than back and forth emails! Xxx

I honestly think it’s down to the staff they had working on the day. I complained that I didn’t get gravy in a mega box, they didn’t refund me but applied a whole box meal for one to my account. It might be worth stating a whole new complaint and hopefully it will land with a different staff member who just deals with the situation straight away.

I think if you took it straight back into the branch they wouldve given you a refund but I’m also glad you’re doing this and making a bigger fuss of it because it’s unbelievable

if I remember correctly alot of theses fast food places are franchise I'd be surprised if KFC customer service will do anything and would be advised go back to the place and take it up with them well see
