This is what is wrong with law enforcement. Upper admin tells us to relate to the students. Show them you are human too. Get to know their likes and dislikes. s So when someone get their feathers ruffled the rules change. This is why I dont do things like this because too many issues can arise and put me in a place I dont want to be.

Police used to have a huge involvement in the community. Anyone remember the baseball trading cards? Police used to engage in a positive manner with everyone.

He did nothing wrong he did something that can change the hate for police. Especially students.. they should feel safe its called public relations know the community.people should respect the police but not fear them ,they r here to serve and protect. Teach kids not all cops r bad they can have fun too. Kids need good mentors . Were all human not robots. Enjoy life

That is so wrong, he is showing police officers are good people and caring. Forming positive relationships with the community is a good thing. Most of the public is focused on the questionable behavior of the police and not the positive behavior.

Our resource officer plays basketball with them and throws the football around. Yesterday he was hitting the volleyball with the girls. He comes into the rooms and says hello. We would not want it any other way!
