How would you alter this if you was on a tight road? The road I live on there is cars either side and just enough space to drive a car through the middle, so I can’t get the swing out like this method 😕

I’m an ADI who teaches in an Renault Captur. I tell my pupils if car facing same way hi 5 wing mirrors as a ref point to line up vehicles. If car facing other way round wing mirrors level with rear door handle or rear passenger window triangle. I teach a half steer as the angle is less aggressive start angle then full lock right then straighten up

That’s is not a small space and your reference points don’t work if the car is facing the other way. Just line your car up with their bumper

I teach similar, I keep full left lock untill kerb disappear from left mirror then full right lock.. Straighten when parallel with the kerb you end up swinging to around 45-50degree.. That's in my Audi A3 and t roc but worked in any of my other cars iv had in the last 20 years.

At 45 degree angle can you show the mirrors ? Like the mirror on your right at 45 degrees , you see the whole of the front of the back car ?
