@joan_kun: Please Don’t Be That Tourist – Part 9 ❌ 4 – Don’t disrespect sacred places in any way
Cemeteries are sacred spaces meant for remembering the deceased. Playing games here is seen as disrespectful to both the people buried and their families, and it can deeply offend the local community.
✅ Instead: Visit quietly, pay respects, and keep any recreational activities to parks or designated areas.
❌ 3 - Don’t stand in front of the opening train doors Blocking the doors slows down boarding and can cause delays or accidents. It’s also frustrating for fellow passengers trying to get on or off. ✅ Instead: Step aside and let people exit first, then enter in an orderly manner. ❌ 2 – Don’t do performances in the street at Shibuya Crossing Shibuya Crossing is one of the busiest intersections in the world and local authorities strictly regulate public performances. ✅ Instead: Find designated performance areas or events, and respect the flow of foot traffic while taking photos ❌ 1 – Don’t steal from honesty boxes
Honesty boxes rely on trust and respect. Taking items without paying violates that trust, disrespects local businesses, and is considered theft under the law.
✅ Instead: Always pay the suggested amount, and if you can, leave a little extra to show appreciation for small, community-run shops. 🙏 Small actions show big respect
By being mindful of your behavior, you help keep Japan beautiful and welcoming for everyone😊🙌✨ FOLLOW only if you love and respect Japan ✨ #japantraveltips #japantradition #lovejapan #japanovertourism

Japan is one of the greatest places to visit on this entire planet. It’s not hard to respect it. I’ve been there and yes I’m rlly immature but Ik to respect that place. I loved it over there.

Those tourists who do those things are typically those from countries that don’t have strong internet connections or showers 🤷♂️🤷♂️
