We’ve been trained to expect what we want the second we want it. And so when it comes to our dreams, our prayers, our goals, we want those instantly too. We pray once and expect it tomorrow. We start something and quit when it doesn’t blow up overnight. But God doesn’t work on our instant timeline. Look at what this verse says. The revelation awaits an APPOINTED time. God has a specific, perfect time already set for the things He’s promised you. It’s not random, it’s not late, it’s appointed. And just because it hasn’t happened yet does not mean it’s not coming. Here’s the part that’ll build your faith. Though it linger, WAIT for it. It will CERTAINLY come. God is basically saying even if it feels slow, even if it feels like it’s taking forever, don’t give up, because it’s guaranteed to show up right on time. The waiting isn’t a sign that God forgot. The waiting is part of the process He’s using to prepare you for what’s coming. Most people miss their breakthrough because they quit during the wait. They wanted it now, and when now didn’t happen, they walked away right before it was about to come. Don’t be that person. Trust the appointed time. What you’re praying for has an appointed time.
