I truly believe this! I'm a public school teacher and I hate that it is so linear. It should be circular where as they show proficiency in a grade in one subject they should move up not by grade but by subject.

I love that my son is in Montessori. he flourished in his 3-6 year old room and he just moved to lower el this year and is such a confident kiddo. the constant change of classes and teachers in traditional school may work for some kids, but I knew my son would thrive with Montessori and he absolutely has.
