I’m not telling you what my score is until I have negotiated the price of the vehicle and have it in writing. I’ll already have a pre approval letter from my bank to buy anything on your lot so you don’t need my score until the end of the process.

I bought a $76K car at dealer and financed it for 7 years @ 8.49%. The dealer was salivating. My OTD price was $69K including taxes all because I was financing the car. On the way home from the dealership, I went to the bank and paid off 94% of the financed amount. Just enough so my loan would fall off in six months so the dealer doesn’t get claw back on their end. I only paid ~$500 in interest but got car price reduced by $7K. Win-win for everyone.

I’ve been working for a credit bureau for almost a decade now. There’s no such thing as 850 . The highest score that i’ve seen is 838
