@surgephilly: Like & follow for more protest coverage! Yesterday, Anti-ICE protesters stormed a Target in South Philadelphia in protest of Target’s collaboration with ICE. The protesters stormed the retail store then held a rally outside while some decided to stay inside, sit on the floor, and refuse to leave. After some time, the cops escorted those that refused to leave from the premises in what appeared to be handcuffs. The protesters with cameras took advantage of this moment to use as a photo op, but our angle showed that the protesters DID NOT have handcuffs on. They then left the protest altogether without being detained. This brought us back to the time AOC put her hands behind her back to make it appear as if she was getting arrested while protesting 🤣. You might ask why might someone want to appear to be cuffed by law enforcement? After speaking to one protester outside of Target, we got the impression that getting in trouble for ‘civil disobedience’ is a badge of honor in many of these circles. Thoughts?

My daughter is 3. We play cops and robbers too. We use scrunchies for handcuffs and a laundry basket for the jail. Make believe it's fun! 🤣
