@Rosie love: I’ve just bought mine solo. House was £120k I didn’t argue gave the full asking price. Mortgage advisor was free because I’m an NHS worker, surveyor £475, home and life insurance monthly cost me £79. I put a 5% deposit and I pay £552 monthly for my mortgage

I've just bought my house solo at 24 for £152,000 with 15% deposit, two bedroom, bath, garden and parking! My solicitor was just under 2k, nothing for mortgage advisor as it came with the bank I switched to.
