I had my first hemiplegic migraine last year. had two more since. I get normal migraines regularly. but when I got this one it was really scary 😨

I get Hemiplegic migraines - always around my period, or because of weather! - and I once had one that lasted a couple weeks. I went into the hospital and they told me “don’t come to the hospital for migraines, you’re wasting our time…” - my biggest fear is one day having a real stroke & either I can’t tell the difference or people don’t take me seriously 🥺.

i have two types of migraine. one is a mild headache where i can do most things but nothing really helps it. the other one starts with stroke-like symptoms, then an excruciating pain where i cannot do anything besides crying in a fetal position. i hate it, and i cant find a madication thats working

Just realizing the smoke/burning smell I’ve been experiencing is a clue to when they start. I’ve never had a migraine in my life until this year. My first was a Hemiplegic and since then I’ve had a migraine almost every month but they are never the same.

I get all the first slide. I even said pineapple when asked what was wrong. My dad looked at me and I said I didn’t want to say that. I also get light sensitivity where the room feels 10x brighter and I just want the lights off. The tingling in one side of my body that runs across my hands are the worse

I have have had heniplegic migraines since I was 17. I get a Ora in my vision then loose my vision, numb face & arm and tounge sometimes my whole side including legs go numb.

My 10 year had one of these I thought she was having a stroke. Symptoms stopped after about 15 mins we were taking her the hospital when they stopped.
