Our lease is up in March and we told them we are moving and they keep sending us a new offer everyday to keep us. We sent them available options that are in our area for the price we want and they matched it. However, we’re still moving😂🤪 But… worth a shot to send them your options.

hey girlll went to high school with you!! i’m a manager at a complex, ask them for a decrease! they send renewals as a bulk for all leases ending for that month. usually they send it above market rate, unfortunately market rate is so high right now BUT it’s so much cheaper to keep a tenant, than pay for it to get ready and re-rent it at potentially lower than what you rent it for. worth a shot to ask for a decrease! i always tell people to do this, worst they can say is no!!

If you moved in with a special then it’s probably why it was cheaper and the jump was more than you expected. DFW most townhomes ranged between $2400 - $3200

Ask around the neighbors what they’re paying, if they got any concessions etc. we got our price the same and 8 wks free just by talking by to neighbors and asking for it!
