Actually, the word 'Sharab' is originally Arabic. In our language, it is a general term for any drink (like water or juice). It comes from the verb 'Shariba' (to drink). When the word traveled to India and Persia, its meaning changed to refer only to alcohol, but in the original Arabic, it's a very innocent word! 😁
