I caved and got camping cots and it is SO much better than any air mattress or sleeping pad on the ground. Easy to set up too.

One of these to wash your hands at your campsite easy, little rug in front of the tent so dirt and stuff doesn’t get inside as easy, a hammock chair is game changer too

We started freezing our water bottles and now we don’t have restock on ice every day. The cooler stays cold longer and the water is always nice and cold 😁

LOVE THIS! People have made snide comments when I tell them I’m camping (in my six man tent with an AC and hanging fan and blow up mattress, etc.) But, idc. I love to sleep in nature but also be comfy and want to do it again and again. It’s not the apocalypse- I’m not training to survive the end o f the world. I just want a camp fire, tank top tan lines, and some s’mores.

We got a canopy to connect to our tent! It’s extremely easy to set up, and mosquitoes LOVE me, so the big net attached is soooo wonderful to allow me to have space outside, shielded from them. There’s also so much more space to put your stuff that’s not just exposed

I use those gym floor mat pieces that connect on the tent floor. So nice to step down and not feel rocks and tree roots etc

We finally ditched the air mattresses and got cots, so much easier to set up and don’t have to worry about inflating the next day 😁 plus our dogs can jump up and sleep with us!

as a chronic pain baddie who loves camping, i bring a blowup couch and a battery powered inflator! you can’t fully relax into a camp chair, and if i want to hike and swim during the day i need i good spot to sit when i get back to camp
