I live in TN & I grew up close to Memphis & Memphis is a lovely place, but not a safe one. I remember when my nephew (5y/o then) had to have heart surgery & I went to the store across the street to the convenience store on Popular and a cop hit me with his lights and told me to get back to the LeBonheur side bc it was dangerous.

Different country but i wasn't even offered a R kit, exam, nothing. I knew him, gave details offered messages he had sent. Nothing. He was eventually sentenced for the same about a year later, but i live with the guilt that if i had pushed harder, it might not have happened. That one was a lot more violent 😔

Memphian here and i remember vividly when this happened as I was a student at the UofM at the time of this. The killers brother turned him in that’s how police found Eliza and also her husband was having an affair with the nanny that’s why so many people thought it was him
