A reminder that social media isn't real life: A Maryland woman flaunting her wealthy lifestyle online was actually just a squatter who illegally moved into a multimillion-dollar house she didn't own, according to police. The situation began around July 4, 2025. The $2.3 million home had recently gone on the market as part of a foreclosure, but appeared to be moving toward a new buyer. But neighbors were confused when new residents moved in before the sale was finalized. The alleged squatters were identified as Tamieka Goode and Corey Pollard. Goode is a self-described “pro-se litigation coach” who frequently documents her life on social media. She featureed the multimillion-dollar home frequently in her videos, as well as luxury cars that police say she allegedly stole from a dealership in Lancaster, PA. Goode was eventually arrested on December 8 and charged with burglary and trespassing. She was found guilty and sentenced to 90 days in jail. According to court records, Pollard was recently arrested on an outstanding, unrelated warrant. #truecrime #influencer
