Remember kids when they try to say you have no rights bring up “Tinker v. Des Moines independent community school” (1969) is the landmark Supreme Court case establishing that students do not "shed their constitutional rights to freedom of speech or expression at the schoolhouse gate". The 7-2 ruling affirmed that students have First Amendment rights to free speech.
