I sure felt this. 9 years. Every single year we were together he did something to disrespect me. Even after having our daughter. We’re coming up on a year divorced, but last year we kept finding our way back to each other and being intimate. I eventually had to set a boundary because I left for a reason. It’s been three months since then, and now he has a girlfriend. I crashed emotionally a couple of days ago, but I keep reminding myself he’s trying to fill a void. He can act like an amazing man because she doesn’t know what I do. I saw who he really was, and he hated that.
