@freckles.farmstead: A lot of people wondered what happened to Maggie the lamb! THIS IS THE STORY! Melissa Howell ABSOLUTELY! So I received this lamb from someone that said if I don’t take this lamb they will let them die in the field. (Of course I wasn’t going to let that happen) I didn’t know she was going to make it on the ride home. I took her internal temp which was 97.4 F when it’s supposed to be 101-104 F. I placed her in my bags that I used for processing chickens. Way better than grocery bags or garbage bags! I kept her in there for 30 mins water was around 102-105 F. I placed her under a couple blankets with a heating pad, had to do that twice. I gave her supplements to give her boosts of energy. She was doing a neck twitch which caused a lack of vitamin B. Maggie is running, Baaaa-ing, skipping, very healthy! #sheep #recovery #trending #tiktok #foryoupage
