I think it bs All right should be reinstated automatically if your case is dismissed or whatever I thought this was the land of the free where you're innocent until proven guilty. your right shouldn't even be taken away while you're Fighting your case

I was found not guilty for an assault charge in NJ. I then had to fight to regain my rights to posses firearms if I lost that case, I would have been fired from my law enforcement job. There is relief in the federal courts, that’s another lawyer cost.

Don’t forget that in most states (Texas included) there are Red Flag laws where even if you are not charged with a crime, a judge can still take away your 2A rights and seize any that you already possess.

Especially in Illinois with the CPD law. You need to follow the protocol to get your 2A rights back. Long pain in the rear process.

In Illinois they can force you into a mental facility on hearsay of someone else without ever investigating or committing a crime never even found incompetent then saying that you will never be let out if you don’t sign away your 2 nd amendment rights which is coercion cause it happened to me on the day of my mothers funeral 😡😡😡😡
