We the people of the United States infers that the whole document is an agreement between the people OF the United States, not IN the United Sates. Based on the preamble to the constitution the amendments (bill of rights) would apply to Citizens unless expressly defined. Assuming of course that “of the people” referred to citizens of the US. Since the constitution was signed the 14th and 19th amendments further refine what a citizen is. Born or naturalized. Naturalized assume a process of becoming a citizen.

I believe all of the Constitution is for Americans only. To extend it to illegals or outside the US would put a lot of our actions in jeopardy. We aren't allowed to claim our rights in other countries.

R2D2 is the protagonist :
if a person rescinds their citizenship. they are not legally allowed to possess a weapon. there is case law on this. so why should a non citizen get that protection?

it's my belief that our founding fathers were looking at citizens of America because you can only pledge allegiance to America and fall under its laws if you are a citizen. if you are a citizen of another country you are held accountable to those laws however as military people know including myself you are held to the law of the country that you are in and subject to the uniform code of military justice so as a military member you can be accountable to several standards. however back to the original the second amendment and first amendment are only in the Constitution and only to Americans.
