This actually has been my life for a very very long time. Having a narcissistic mother who I always had to apologise to when I would stand up for myself just to be able to have a relationship with her on her terms. No longer accepting that behaviour. I have had a shift in career from aged care to doing a nursing degree. So this hits home so so much. 🥰
