I find that a lot of people talk crap on the @tracyandersonmethod … I see videos of trainers or just “workout influencers” taking one class and then saying how it was horrible, it doesn’t do anything, etc. etc. And while I don’t discredit their opinions, I wonder if it’s because even if you’re a trainer or workout influencer, doesn’t mean you’re actually connected to your mind and body. Let me explain: for this method, Tracy doesn’t speak to you during the workout. However, they have added this option in the beginner lane if you absolutely cannot do the workout without a trainer instructing you, which I think is a fantastic add-on for someone brand new to the method. However however, people find this EXTREMELY weird and off-putting because we are used to always being instructed when taking any type of class. • where you should be feeling it • how your form should be etc. etc. (again) But this is actually one of my favorite things about this specific workout. I can do a move and immediately feel if it’s not right, if my weight is not balanced, etc. etc…but it’s come with practice. It’s come with doing this method for almost 15 years (!!!) and working out in general almost my entire life. I also really enjoy not listening to someone talk at me for 30min-an hour, and I can just listen to my own thoughts and body…and I think there is such a beauty to that— being so in-tune with your own body that you don’t need someone to instruct every single little thing you are doing. And then lastly, adding the trampoline during the opening arm sequence has been a game changer to my energy throughout the entire workout. If you want a trampoline, you need a @jumpsport trampoline in your life— use code: MISSMAKENZIERAE
