I just broke up with my boyfriend I’ve caught him multiple times expressed i didn’t like it and how it makes me feel very insecure and overthinking constantly he has cried to me about how he doesn’t want to do it and he doesn’t know why he does it i know he cares i genuinely feel loved by him other then that and it sucks it really breaks my heart and i do care about him but im not sure how to help him with my own past relationship bot knowing if he truly cares im so back and forth not knowing if its real or not

I was barely 3months pregnant when I woke up and caught him watching it the night of my birthday. All the secrets I ever told him were used against me but he never told he had this addiction. I was hurt especially through my body changing and not feeling respected. I left for a week, when I came back I was blamed for my reaction and was told I was the one who needed to apologize because “all men do it” and “it’s normal”. He claimed he would stop but my intuition would tell me every time he watched it without telling me. He watched it the same night I came back home and even more unti we broke up.

Thank you for your transparency. But I have to say I disagree with him not telling the woman every time he fails when trying to get better. I feel he owes it to the woman to be transparent in order for trust and true spiritual intimacy to be rebuilt.

I found out a while ago, and he said he stopped and I forgave him, I know he wants to stop and doesn’t like it but a year later I had a few missed voice calls of him crying and confessing he only stopped for a week and that entire time he had been lying to me and he was good at lying too, now he has said he stopped and I forgave him again and I do believe him it’s just really hard to trust sometimes and I don’t like asking or nagging it’s uncomfortable but it did really hurt me and I just don’t know if I’ll ever feel like I 100% believ he’s telling the truth, I’m always looking for signs he’s still doing it in my head

I did all this and was very involved in our religion and he just did it then also , he chooses to keep failing because he will not do the steps . 🖤 There is no more nagging or care anymore.

My boyfriend told me with his two other ex girlfriends it was way worse but when he met me he tried hard not to and he didn’t for months but when he downloaded Twitter and insta for the first time ever it got rlly bad, obviously everyone has stuff pop up and he said that stuff started showing up.. then he got addicted again. I could tell he was depressed and sad and he wouldnt say a word. It broke my heart and one day we hung out and he said randomly he didnt wanna be here anymore and started crying (he never cries ever) and he wouldn’t tell me. 2 weeks later on a date I took his phone as a joke with my sister and opened twitter and im assuming yk what I saw I scrolled for a while. It broke me completely. He told me it’s nothing to do w me at all. It’s been a few months and he seems 10x happier, has none of those apps anymore, I check his search there’s nothing fishy, same w TikTok. But I’m so scared. So many girls say they still do it I just don’t know. He acts way more loyal and complimenting me way more now but I’ll always be scared.
