@gemmaleebradley: this what our life looks like every 10 days ❤️‍🩹 this tiny device is called a CGM (continuous glucose monitor) it checks her blood sugar every 5 minutes, 24/7. it’s how we catch dangerous highs and lows before they become emergencies (most of the time) it’s how we sleep at night. it’s how she stays safe when she can’t tell us how she feels. every 10 days, we replace it. another reminder that diabetes doesn’t take breaks. she didn’t do anything to deserve this.
