@everyday_home_repairs: Product links are listed on our Facebook Page: "Everyday Home Repairs" . In this video, I walk through a straightforward method for building strong, clean-looking shelves inside a shed. The first step is clearing out the space completely—working around clutter slows you down and leads to sloppy results. From there, I explain material choices, including when quarter-inch plywood is fine and when three-quarter-inch plywood is the better option if you plan to hang heavy items directly on the wall. I cover layout tips like centering your wall, marking studs every 24 inches, and fastening shelves properly using long construction screws such as GRK screws or framing nails. You’ll see how I build shelves flat on the ground, use temporary supports during install, and secure everything directly into studs for strength. For L-shaped shelves or workbenches, I explain why bracing matters and show a simple angled brace made from scrap lumber. I also finish the shelves with OSB, share tips for cleaner edges, and explain how to hide small mistakes. This is a practical, repeatable system that works. #ShedBuild #DIYShelves #WorkshopSetup #Woodworking shed shelves, DIY shelving, shed organization, workshop shelves, shed workbench, plywood shelves, GRK screws, OSB shelving, shed build, garage shelving, woodworking basics
