Traveling for work is only fun if it’s minimal work and you get to stay in the city for a few days, otherwise it’s just a really long commute

I did exactly this for 3 years straight. Was out of the country for 2 weeks of every month. I was in my 20s and loved it but no way could I do it now. It is exhausting though. The late. Night check ins and meals, all day meetings, airport runs. Good luck 😉

It wouldn't be that bad if it weren't for the stupid dinners and drinks. Thankfully I've stopped drinking, I stay for a couple of hours for the dinner and I'm out.

Work travels are extreeeemely draining. The only thing that saves me is the fact that I usually arrive to a location the day before. At least I can get somewhat decent sleep before all that circus begins.

I travel for work and let me tell you…after 6 years, 20-40 trips a year all over the US and a few intl trips, I’m DONE. 😩

I sometimes have to travel to the Middle East for work - fly on Saturday afternoon, get to hotel around 1am on Sunday, in the office 7 hours later (work week is Sunday to Thursday) and spend a week living on office snacks, hotel lounge canapés, and coffee. Pretty much only see the country through taxi windows - glamorous it ain’t! 😅

Honestly travelling for work is so tiring, I literally get 5 minutes to myself, not to mention how you get off the plane and have to go straight to the office
