@auroraricottiottmann: 🗣️ Connected speech in real English When we speak fast and fluently, words don’t stay in neat little boxes. They link together. 👉 If a word ends in a consonant sound and the next one starts with a vowel sound, they’re often pronounced as one single unit. Sometimes the final consonant even moves to the next word. 🔍 Example: AN ICE CREAM → A NICE CREAM More everyday examples: • TURN OFF → tur-noff • SHOES ON → shoe-zon This is why listening feels hard… and why pronunciation matters more than you think 👀✨ #ingleseperitaliani #britishenglish #connectedspeech
