Not lab grown, it's spaghetti meat. It's where the chicken has grown much too quickly, causing rapid hypertrophy and not giving the chicken enough time to develop the connective tissue to hold that muscle together properly. It can have quite a rubbery texture so roasting or grilling isn't ideal - curries, stews, tenders, or mincing it is best. It's safe to eat but has less protein and more fat than a typical breast.
