Uhuru regime took us to the IMF for an economic bailout, we protested against the move. The agreement was signed and the current regime wanted to renegotiate the terms, that's why they didn't approve the final disbursements. The government has went against the IMF request to increase taxes. As the lender of last resort, a country goes to imf when they can't get any financing from other sources.
